Our business history

Have You Not Read is just starting out. My hopes are to add a number of articles for all to use (and I'm sure, for some to argue with) and add more items to the shop. My overall goal is to eventually open a local business where kids can come play and learn at the same time.

About our staff
Have You Not Read is the ministry of Arthur Smith and is currently run from my home in Des Moines, Iowa.

What makes us unique
Many Creationist sites, though wonderful, come from the background of a Creationist belief. However my background is from a rock-solid belief in both the Day/Age and Theistic Evolution faiths. After many years of defending that faith with all my strength. Simply put, all the Creationists I spoke to could answer exactly none of my questions with anything other than "you just have to believe" which didn't cut it.

I finally became tired of Creationists that I set out to prove them wrong once and for all. I had all the questions they could not answer, so I was going to finally get the answers to all them because I knew science had the answers. Yet after a long, hard search, I found no answers. I found speculations, philosophy and conclusions solely based on assumptions based on critical data that could not be known.

After this, I took a new route. I started reading the Creationist's books in order to shoot holes in their crazy ideas. Again, I didn't find what I was looking for. Instead, I found that all the evidence, at least that which wasn't formed on guesses, pointed not to evolution and millions of years, but to creation. Very slowly, God opened my eyes and granted me this revelation: He was right and it was I that was wrong.

Ever since it has been my passion to learn, study and teach to others where the real evidence points to and that we really can believe every Word God gave us, even if man disagrees
