The dream to reach youth and adult with the truth and strength of God’s Word. For many years, my dream and constant prayer has been a ministry career. It had been rather vague – Not pasturing a church, but speaking and teaching on the absolute truth of God’s Word, this includes every word of Genesis, as He has given it to us.

More recently, this has turned form a passion to goal I MUST accomplish after seeing a video for Creation Science Evangelism's 'Dinosaur Adventureland'. This dream of mine has kept me awake at nights now, thinking of what I could put into it. The picture and following descriptions are my way of putting down my thoughts, giving me a tangible goal and letting me sleep!! Now to wait until God can lead me to funding.

Dinosaur Adventure Details

The name isn't set in stone.  I would like it to be something similar to this but I would not want to exactly copy the original. Not that there is anything wrong with it, but because we have a Six Flags-style amusement park here named ‘Adventureland’, I would change the name a little and add in more indoor activities.

The goal of the park would be to provide a place for kids to play and romp but do so in an environment where they can learn Godly lessons. Therefore, the first need is fun activities. My ideas in the picture would provide this, or at least my ten year old thinks so. To the left you will find links to close-ups of the layouts.

The walls of the park would contain murals that continue the look of the activity (i.e. Noah’s Ark) or would be lessons relating to them. For example, at the “Following in Their Footprints” would be the lesson : “A number of places throughout the earth we find dinosaur footprints. Very occasionally, along with these we come across footprints of man. One in particular had a dinosaur print with a print from a man inside it as if the man was stepping in the dinosaur’s tracks for easier walking through the mud. Follow the dinosaur tracks to cross the mud” The park would also include a creation museum with replicas of fossils, finds and relics, interactive lessons, a scale Ark of Noah, displays and more.

It would also have at least one classroom. This would run movies and lectures but be a room where I and others could give talks and lectures on different Scriptural and scientific topics. A book and gift shop would round out the rest. This all will be built inside a building to allow for year-round activities. However, if the space permits, additional outdoor activities would be possible as well. Activities such as a field where you can launch water balloons at life-size dinosaur targets. The idea here would be to use small dinos to show that most of them were actually very small and could easily fit on the ark.  I would also like to see a 'Garden of Eden' where people can sit, relax, and read while the kids play.  A snack bar with Brachiosaur Burgers, Salads of Eden and Noah's Nachos would be fun as well.

My goal is not to simply indoctrinate youth from one faith to another. But to make them think. Once we release the doctrines of naturalism and humanism, start to actually look at the facts and think, the answers, GOD’s answers are abundantly clear. I truly believe that a place like dinosaur Adventure would allow youth, at an early age, to start to question the doctrines they are taught in public schools. To anyone who reads this or hears about it, I ask simply that you pray for this endeavor, that funding comes and many, many youth are reached and strengthened for God.
